Sean S –
I have the low fixed mount fender eliminator from TST, and it’s a solid piece of engineering. The undertail closeout plate they make is an incredibly well-made and well-thought part, especially for a simple piece of plastic. The texture is the same as my 2022 Grom’s undertail. There are pre-marked spots for any drilling that is required, and they even engineered gussets for added strength/stability. The angle/look of the low-mount plate is exactly what I was after. It’s definitely less noticeable than the stock or high-mount plate positioning, but it still feels “legit-enough” to pass most law enforcement’s eye test. It’s certainly better than just screwing your plate to the undertail – I feel like those mounting styles are just asking to get questioned.
Overall, I’m very impressed with this mounting setup. I paired mine with a TST Industries integrated LED taillight and the flasher relay for a super clean look on my Grom.
