I change out the sprocket when I ride off road and the tighter trails/woods riding. Gives a little bit more RPM and torque to the rear wheel resulting in less slipping of the clutch.

NOTICE PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY! Isaw a video about how great an upgrade the 14T is over the factory 15T so I purchased this for my 2023 Honda Monkey 125. After I already purchased it I watched another video on how to install it and the guy said, “look in your Owners Manual for the torque specs, so I did and my 2023 Monkey Owners Manual said it has a 14T front sprocket. Apparently this is for older model Honda Monkey’s because I purchased mine brand new at the local Honda dealership with zero miles. I guess I’m stuck with it because it’s too cheap to waster time doing a return. Be nice if the description mentioned which years already have the 14T from the factory so people do not make the same mistake I did buying something they do not need (unless theirs is wore out or damaged and they need a replacement).
