Improved handling, cornering and braking are immediately noticed. Full maintenance capability with alternative spring rates available as an accessory part. Spring rate 6,0 N/mm compared to the standard 5,5 N/mm. Öhlins recommends the use of Öhlins suspension fluid R&T 01309-01 for this product. The cartidge kit is easily installed into the standard fork legs after first removing the standard fork kit, but Öhlins always recommends having this installation done by an authorized Öhlins center.
The MNNTHBX fork install tool is required to install the fork kit.

Another quality product. Stock suspension was soft and bouncy. 200lbs was too much for my little Grom on some of these rural roads. I had already installed the Ohlins rear suspension. I brought the Ohlins upgrade kit to my local Honda dealership. They did the install. Went with the 6.0n springs, 15mm of preload and 20w fork oil. After riding it a hindered miles or so, I would personally forgo the 15mm compression sleeve. The front is noticeable more stiff over stock and even more stiff than the Ohlins on the rear. I may increase preload on the rear to compensate and have the dealership remove the front preload sleeve during the next routine service.
TL;DR
The suspension is much more firm and no longer bottoms out on potholes, no more nose dive under hard braking.
