Very solidly built. Easy to install on the Svartpilen, just 4 bolts.

  • Max (verified owner)

Best fit on market right now and tightest tidy. You will need to get an 5mm spacer or new bolt for after taking off the license plate support arm.

Perfect fit. It really cleans up the bike. I added the LED Plate bolts as well.

  • Julian Lucero (verified owner)

    Perfect fit. Very nice
I had to invert the plate support so that it fits the size of the license plate in Chile

Absolutely must buy for any Vit or Svart owner. Best looking tail tidy on the market, and very well built.

Svartpilen 401 , it looks great. Easy to install, price is good compared to others. Quick shipping and quality part

Looks good but puts the plate in line to be hit by the rear tire under suspension compression.
I’m going to have to either bend my plate or modify the mount and try and put it in reverse so the plate sits in front of the rear tire.

We’ve sold hundreds of these well proven kits, and have never seen even the slightest issue. We’re confident you won’t get the plate into the tire. If for some reason you find a way to make that happen, we’ll replace it.

First of all, this was a very nicely made piece, and fit perfectly. My problem was that it just didn’t work, as I continuously hit the plate with my rear tire. This was a US-sized plate, GA tag. I take full responsibility, as I weigh 220 and the Svartpilen is woefully undersprung for my weight, especially if you ride it on unimproved (graded/gravel) roads, as I have. After the first day, It actually bent the plate under and folded it in half. I actually bent the bracket to raise it so that plate was about 15-20 degrees from horizontal, and it still hit next time. Left the turn signals up there, but had to put the original plate holder back on. If you ride in rain or dirt, you will also get wet/dirty without the original fender piece. If you are 180# and ride on nice smooth roads, probably will work for you.

Ted, thanks for your honest feedback. I’m shocked to hear there was interference, as we’ve sold hundreds of these and tested extensively without issue. The last thing we want is to sell any product that can’t be used. Please contact us for a return and refund if you’d like.

Well made piece of kit that is simply the best looking tail tidy available. Whilst it wasn’t the most complex job, a set of instructions would have been nice – if only to tell me the tools required!

  • James (verified owner)

No instructions provided so its a crap shoot to both install the part and remove the stock fender. There is no indication of what to do with the original chain guard bolts that are too long once the fender is removed or how to even remove the fender. For reference I am installing this on a 2020 that already has the signal lights mounted under the seat. I cant imagine that its any easier on earlier models where the wiring would have to be rerouted. Super disappointed since the rest of the comments made it seem very straight forward.

James, sorry to hear you’re struggling. This is one of our top selling products, and in high volume. It’s a super simple piece to install, we’ve never had anyone struggle, and don’t include instructions as they’re just not needed. That said, how about contacting us through our site for help, and we”ll gladly walk you through and problems you are having….

Very good quality, my bike looks how I want it. An important detail that should be mentioned is that for the 2020 version the space of the plastics is smaller and the piece does not fit immediately, I had to cut the plastics a little so that the piece could fit, please mnnthbx be careful with this and give the appropriate explanation in the description.

    Thanks.

The product description states it’s for 2018-2019. I surprised you got it to work on a 2020. We’re bringing in a new bike to develop for the 2020+.

This is a great product! Been running it for a while now and it’s perfect. Just wondering if there’s a way to fit it with the rear passenger handle still on? I feel like it came with an adapter originally but if it did I’ve lost it.
