Not much to say here. Enjoying the extra pep on the ’22 Monkey. Even dropping 14t to 13t (also in./ex./head work/aracer) I still haven’t hit rev-limit in 5th gear. I will find it though. 5th is more like 5th now and less like O/D

13T front sprocket for the 2022 Monkey replaced my OEM 14t. The top speed is only slightly better under optimal conditions, but never lower than it was. On the level with no wind I’m about +3 mph. More pep and pull. 4th gear rev limits at about 54-55mph. This gearing puts the peak HP RPM at about 55mph in 5th gear with the stock rear sprocket. MNNTHBX is great as always.

Original gearing was for too high a travel speed so 5th gear lugged the engine. 13 front and 39 gear rear was the answer. Thanks guys. now I have power and speed.
